1) Continue reading a book of your choice every day for 20 minutes at least & tell your family new information you learned about the characters, traits, or plot development OR keep a reading journal in google classroom (share with Mr. Ford if you would like to). - Create Redding, CT, the town Sam and Tim Meeker lived in. Students could use Minecraft or paper and markers to create the town.
- Find a recipe for Hardtack. This is what Sam Meeker and many other soldiers ate during the war. Make the recipe and write about what it tastes like.
- Research Verplanck's Point, NY, the town Tim and Father visited. Create a fact sheet or poster about the town.
